Book club, which would be more appropriately titled "fabulous food club" met on Saturday night. We spent more time enjoying our marvelous dinner than we did talking about The Gathering. We also made our selection for the next book, to be read by some date in May. This will be Jean Rhys's Wide Sargasso Sea.
This looks like a beautiful book....anyone want to read it with me?

Oh -- another one I've read -- and compared to Jane Eyre (how do you do italics here?!?!?), I think, in an essay. I have a few mental images created by the book, but that's about it. Why, oh, why, is my memory so pathetic?!?!?
