Three days of partying, we're wiped out!

Dinner tonight was a celebration of something like the return of spring, and the finale of our girls birthday partying.

After a weekend of gymnastics, ice-skating every day, a bit much icecream cake, friends visiting, and rising temperatures, we grilled steaks in the garage and had a lovely bottle of Chalone Pinot Noir from 2004. It was delicious. Go out and get some.

We talked about how abundantly we are blessed....with more than we need, more than it would occur to us to ask for.
So we are so thankful to God for all his kindness to us.
We live in a land of peace and plenty, we have six healthy and thriving children, our marriage is a delight to us both, and we have no end of interesting friends to spend time with.
So much to be thankful for.

And tomorrow is Monday, so here we go again....

Hey don't tempt me Missy! Dangling a lovely Pinot label in my view. I will definitely remember this one for later in the year.

You may have to look hard for it....but it is worth the effort.
Jon got this in New Hampshire two years ago, you may be able to find it at the big LCBO downtown.
