For those of you who are itching to hear what Jon is going to read (besides Woodworking books and piles and piles of Neurology Journals), here's a little list of a few that he's volunteered to take on.
Heart of Darkness - Conrad
Wise Blood - Flannery O'Connor
The Physician in Spite of Himself - Moliere
As I Lay Dying - Faulkner
There were a few more checked off on the paper we were recording his choices on, but Princess Margaret went after it with a purple Sharpie, so the rest will just have to be revealed at a later date.
He's also reading Midnight's Children and the Ulysses/Odyssesy combo-pack about which I have whined so much in previous posts.
He's making a move to read Moby Dick aloud to us all, as he reads to the whole gang here almost every night.
He's got a few other small projects going, like putting new siding on the back of the house where he ripped off the balcony. And then there is the tree house which requires his attention. It is now a dangerous tree house, since half the tree fell inte the neighbor's yard.
The work of a Viking carpenter neuroscientist is never done.
