Just a quick word.
I am only at Los Alamos in The Making of the Atomic Bomb, but I believe that this should be required reading for every highschool student.
It is astonishing to see how quickly science moved forward from 1910 and into the '30s. And also to see what the lives and thoughts of so many brilliant men from such diverse backgrounds were during what I now see was a very difficult time.
What an education there is here in this book!
